Lenten Activities
Sundays during services there will be special lenten skits.
Wednesdays there will be scripture readings. These readings will be non stop for an hour from begining to end of the chapters list below. Each week will pick up where the last week's readings left off. From Noon-1pm they will be reading first from Psalms, then Proverbs. From 6:30-7:30 We will be reading from Matthew. There are sign-ups in the back of the Sanctuary.
Maundy Thursday service will be held at 7pm at the church.
There is a community Good Friday Service at 7:30 pm at Christ United Methodist in Baltimore. http://www.christum-baltimore.com/
Easter Sunday will being with Sunrise Service at 6:30am presented by the Lay Leaders, followed by breakfast cooked by the Men's Group, Early Service (8:30), Sunday School (9:30), and Traditional Service (10:45). Services will be held by visiting Pastor Beth Weisbrod. |
