The United Methodist Women (UMW) meet on the second Thursday of each month.  Members take turns hosting the meetings and providing the program.  All Women are invited to attend the meetings.

Each year the New Zion UMW select a person that has given significant time to missions, whether it is at home or on a foreign field.  In honor of this person, a monetary gift is sent to the UMW District Treasurer to support mission work. A pin and certificate are given to each recipient.  The number of people at New Zion that qualify for this recognition are many.  The selection of just one or two people makes this a challenging process.
